Production plan for the next three weeks

Three Week Plan

 Friday 25th November 2011 - Updating Blogs and finishing off Digi packs.

26th - 27th November (Weekend) - Over the weekend we will be editing our digi packs. and making sure that we are on schedule with our production plans and our Blogs.

Monday 28th November 2011 - Tester shots of the things we want to film such as the parachute men. 

Consultation with Molly about the things that we want her to do 

Summery: Planning of props and costumes.

Wednesday 30th November - Filming the close up shots of Molly. We will be using my house to do this as we are unable to use the Gallery at this time, we are doing the close up shots as this will not give away the fact that we are not in the Gallery and means that we have at least filmed a good part of the video.
 -I will be personally taking pictures of Molly for my own digipak.  
 

Friday 2nd December 2011 - Edit everything that we have filmed, Plan our next step for filming, booking the Gallery for after the Alternative Prize has been taken down.

3rd-4th December (Weekend) - We will once again be filming some more, possibly the milk bottle scene as this can be done outside school with a plain background, maybe even the bouncy ball scene when they are coming down the stairs.

Monday 5th December 2011 - Going to the Gallery and asking Cassie if we are able to use the Gallery for filming as the Alternative prize should be taken down soon. 

Also planning for costumes and props to bring in on the day of filming. Consulting Molly again on what she needs to do for the day of filming.

Wednesday 7th December 2011 - Looking over all the footage that we have filmed so far and editing it all so that we know what we have left to film and what is a priority on our to do list.

These screen shots are both from footage we filmed of our artist dancing and singing at Danson firework display. We are currently editing through this footage, these are just two shots used as evidence and to give a taster of what our music video shall look like.

Their Feedback:   The elements that work are:
Parachuting men go with the lyrics "it's oh so quiet" as it is calm and peaceful. I love the fact of the pinata being used and things flowing in the air from the pinata. Love the fact that the visuals go with the music.




Things that need developing are:
Nothing I can think of at the moment.




Things that don't work are: (remember to include reasons)
The milk bottles, I don't really understand what the reason for using them is and how they relate with everything else.

Today's Journal

Since looking at all of our feedback from our pitch, we have been told by Miss. Whittaker and the rest of the class that we should change our target audience. We should apparently change our target audience, to category B-D or B-C because students cannot afford a lot of things. Now our audience are still students but they have money, although their ethos has not changed they are still not avid consumers, but they do occasionally splurge on music.

This is our groups pitch for our band "Anima", we have put down

all of the information on the band. All of their expenditures for the music video and their own particular ethos. 

Animatic

Anima's Animatic

This is our animatic, it is our storyboards cut together and put with our music. It should be eventually what our final music video will look like. When making our animatic we have realised a few snags to our music video, such as the fact that we do not have enough footage to last the whole way throughout our music video. We are contemplating a few new shots to add to our music video, so that we have enough footage to fill up our music video.

Anima Illustrated Digipak

This is my illustrated digipak, it is also my first ideas. Factors about this digipak might change such as the material that the lead singer puts above her head. I would also like to use the idea of the lead singer having lace put to her face and with the help of a strong lamp, the pattern of the lace will be put upon her face using shadows. I would like to make the background a natural light brown, i will make it this colour by putting a wet tea bag on some paper and then scanning that sheet on to the computer. From there i shall get the effect digitally. We have also decided that the album will be self titled, "Anima" also we have know chosen all of our song names and these shall remain the same.

Today's Journal

Today I have had a few brainwaves for my digipak design, i am still yet undecided on a few things just in case they do not work out. But all of my pictures for my digipak design involve bringing in props from home, which should be interesting. As at the moment the ideas are looking good in my head and now just comes the task of bringing them to reality. Also the pitch for our music video is on Friday so a lot of planning is going in to that this week. Our animatic is being made and footage from Saturday is uploaded and just needs to sifted through to see whats worth keeping. All of this should be done by the end of this week and hopefully up on our blogs by Monday!!!

Today's Journal

So today me an Libby went to our local firework night and filmed the entire display on one camera and on another we filmed Molly (our lead singer) dancing in front of a funfair and then the firework display. We have since looked over the footage only breifly, but our very happy with what we was able to shoot over the weekend. We think that it will be immensly successful in creating a big finale in our music video. Also the element of being somewhere else opposed to the room where she is always in, in the video will awaken audiences also. But in a very good and lightening way.

Today's Journal

Today Si Hin, Libby and I went to a local party shop in the high street and bought the first confetti canon. In the up and coming weeks we would like to film molly with the confetti canon, but also we are yet to test out the parachute men. The confetti cannon cost us £5.99, yet if we opt for the larger canon it is £9.99 we are still discussing the option of buying the larger one for another scene. We will figure this out hopefully next week and our eagerly awaiting our first slice of many shooting days on saturday.

Today's Journal

Yesterday night Libby had the brainwave of us incorporating the idea of dancing feet in to our music video. The idea would be that using the laces we would make them move, as if they were dancing. Hopefully this will work out as we can do a tester shot as soon as possible. Hopefully next week and we can obviously get bright shoes and socks its all just a question of pulling together our own resources. So this will not be another prop splurge we can film this shot first possibly along with the parachute men, as we will not need our lead singer for this. We are going to talk this over tomorrow in lesson to Si Hin and see what he thinks. If this does not work we could always use a green screen to get the same effect of them moving and drop in the gallery background. As a group we are also anticipating this weekend as it is the fireworks display in which we will be filming at and this will be our first piece of filming for our music video. We will plan this over this week in our media lessons and i will update with our production schedule for Friday!
